UKSA Sailing Opportunities

Whether you are looking for dinghy sailing, windsurfing, keelboating, yachting or a multi activity course; you can be confident that by choosing UKSA your school trip will be safe, friendly, exciting, educational and above all else - fun.

UKSA is a Registered Charity set up to promote water sports activities for young people. Located in Cowes, visitors enjoy warm waters, beaches and creeks. The Isle of Wight also enjoys more sunshine hours than any other UK resort - making us an ideal location for your school trip.

We are committed to changing the lives of everyone we work with through our maritime training and experiences. Our specific expertise and equipment enable young people to build their self-confidence, self-reliance, teamwork and social skills.

Facilities at UKSA include 270 residential beds, indoor heated pool, shop, tv lounge, games room, drying rooms, cyber cafe and a leisure / recreation area.

We offer various types of curriculum-based school for children from 8 years at Primary School, Secondary School and Youth Groups.

Prices this year for a two-night break start from just £110 per person, this includes full board, accommodation and all activities. For groups of 10 we include the cost of the return ferry to the Isle of Wight and for every 10 places we also give you 1 leaders place free of charge.

Through our bursary scheme, help is available for young people who would not have the opportunity to come to UKSA, due to emotional, learning or physical difficulties or through lack of funding.
