Primary Education

On the Island there are 46 primary schools all with differing sizes of cohorts and ranges of facilities.

In each Primary School there is a nominated person who oversees PE and is the main contact between the school and it's feeder schools. This role is called the Primary Link Teacher (PLT).

There are many courses for PLTs and more importantly the other members of staff in the school to enhance thier delivery of PE.

The competition calendar is set out to ease the workload of PLTs and make the curriculum planning easier and more consistent across the Island.
