Schools make a big splash at Medina!

Thirty pupils took part from three schools at Medina on the 7th May. With a range of abilities and ages this festival was possible because of the support from the Young Leaders from Carisbrooke, and staff from Carisbrooke and Sandown SSPs.

Pupils competed in teamwork, encouragement, as well as placing. The activities included a team float challenge, egg and spoon race, and caterpillar relay, with between four and eight competing at a time for a school.

The pupils had a great time, and it was topped off with a fun session, before the certificates were given to all pupils both those on poolside and those that got wet.

It is hoped next year to run more festivals with additional events to include a wider range of abilities.
