Finally Football!

• The last ever Middle School finals have been taking place. A big thanks to East Cowes Vics and Newport Football Club for hosting and to Andy King and Dave Brunt from the IOW Referee Association for officiating – all very much appreciated.

• The Year Five Primary Finals are being held next week at East Cowes; it might be one evening or two depending on whether Nine Acres keep up their incredible run.

• The U-14 team are taking part in the Easter Festival in early April; we are still awaiting the fixtures.

• The IOW SFA will hold their AGM in early May; hopefully, once the secondary teachers know where their jobs are going to be, we can sort out various competitions for next year. It is envisaged that with the Year 7 and 8 students in High Schools from September, there will be a league competition but the cup contests will be scraped.
